POLL MERINO

The Carcuma North rams fit the SA Merino dual purpose description very well; big framed, robust and easy-doing sheep with heavy cutting, high quality, well-nourished, bright and free growing 19 to 21 micron fleeces.

They also have very good carcase qualities for growth and muscling, thus maximising productivity and profitability for the purchasers.

They have performed well at the Adelaide Royal in sheep and wool classes and at the 2019 Adelaide Royal they were the most successful exhibitor in the Open Merino Premature Fleece classes for the third year in a row, including the Champion Open Merino Premature Shorn Ram Fleece award.

We are not prepared to sacrifice the many productive attributes of their flock and concentrate on steady improvement across all traits. This more focused and careful selection policy has ensured their rams are of a consistent high quality and breed true to type for purchasers.

The 2024 Carcuma North sale rams can be inspected on-property anytime by arrangement, or a selection will be on display at the SE Merino Field Day at Keith.

Grant & Carolyn are very pleased with their quality and proudly recommend them to you.

The annual Carcuma North on-property ram sale will be on Wednesday, 7 August 2024 from 11am.
